Looking for the perfect ‘staycation,’ before the start of the new school year?

Brookfield Zoo announced they are offering ‘Kids’ Free Days’ where children ages 11 and under will receive free admission for a limited time during the first week of August.

Children can engage in fun health-related activities including an opportunity to explore the inside of an ambulance and meet the Pet Therapy teams from the Hinsdale Humane Society who work with patients at AMITA Health. Families will also be able to meet a few of Brookfield Zoo’s animal ambassadors.

In addition, the zoo promises kids a healthy snack and a take-home memento to commemorate the day’s events will also be available.

Admission for adults and parking fees still apply. Entrance is $21.95 for adults and $15.95 for seniors 65 and over. Parking is $14.
