Authorities Identify 3 Slain Inside Joliet Home

Authorities have identified three people who were found shot to death inside a southwest suburban Joliet home Thursday afternoon.

Emmanuel Hernandez-Arroyo, of Plainfield, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, as did West Chicago residents Anthony M. McGee and Gabriella M. Rueda, according to the Will County coroner’s office.

The victims, all 22, were pronounced dead at the home in the 2000 block of Great Falls Drive in Joliet, authorities said.

Officers were called to the single-family home about 2:50 p.m. and were met by a person who directed them to a room where the three bodies were found, according to Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton.

The deaths are being investigated as homicides. The killings were not considered random, Benton said.

Anyone with information was asked to call Joliet investigators at (815) 724-3020.
