Chicago Bulls Mascot Benny the Bull was attacked on Wednesday as he escorted a group of kids through an amusement park in Tinley Park.
As the group crossed a foot bridge at Odyssey Fun World, a man and woman approached from the opposite direction. The mascot began dancing in front of the couple, according to a police report.
The man became agitated and made threatening remarks to Benny. The report said the man then pushed Benny, causing him to lose his balance and fall into a railing and to the ground.
The man in the mascot costume injured his wrist in the incident but refused medical treatment and declined to file a battery complaint.
Management of Odyssey Fun Center told police they want to issue a criminal trespass warning if the suspect is found.
One of the members recorded the incident on a cell phone.
Earlier this week, an employee dressed as a Porky Pig mascot was attacked at the Six Flags Great America theme park in Gurnee.
