An Aurora man was arrested last week after authorities found cocaine and ecstasy during a raid of his home.
Markus Russell, 31, was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of more than 15 grams of a controlled substance and possession of ecstasy, all felonies, Aurora police said.
Officers took Russell into custody at his home Thursday evening when they executed a search warrant and found over 60 grams of powder and crack cocaine, two ecstasy pills and other “drug-related equipment,” police said.
According to police, Russell was already on federal probation for a 2011 drug charge stemming from “Operation Fallen Angel,” a joint investigation between Aurora police and the FBI.
Russell is being held at Kane County Jail to await arraignment.
