Shots Fired at Federal, State Officers Near Chicago's Midway Airport: Police

Four suspects are in custody after shots were fired at federal and state law enforcement officers near Midway Airport in Chicago Monday, police said.

Officers were conducting an investigation in the 6100 block of South Kolmar in the city’s West Lawn neighborhood just blocks from the airport when shots were fired at them, according to Chicago Police and the FBI.

No one was injured in the shooting, but police said four suspects were taken into custody.

The FBI said it "has resources on scene," and the case remains "active."
