Rain for the Bears Game?

Expect wet, cool autumn weather on game day

It's the first day of fall, do you know where your umbrella is?

The National Weather Service forecast calls for rain over the weekend and into Tuesday, raising the possibility of a soggy Soldier Field for Sunday's Bears game.

On game day, the NWS predicts a 40 percent chance of showers and a high of 64 degrees.

While rain is not guaranteed, it will certainly be a chilly, grey afternoon. A 3:15 p.m. kickoff means temps could drop as low as 50 degrees by game's end.

Saturday calls for the most severe weather in the immediate forecast, with a 60 percent chance of showers and scattered thunderstorms which could produce hail.
