Lifetime Orders ‘Surviving R. Kelly' Sequel

The four-part series will feature interviews with survivors and experts

"Surviving R. Kelly" is returning to television.

Lifetime announced on Tuesday it has ordered "Surviving R. Kelly: The Aftermath."

The four-part series will feature interviews with survivors and experts, according to the network.

The Emmy-nominated, six-part series "Surviving R. Kelly," debuted in January and focused on old and new allegations.

Almost 13 million people tuned in to see multiple women make claims against the R&B singer.

Federal authorities arrested Kelly on July 11 outside his Trump Tower home in Chicago on federal sex crime charges in both Chicago and New York, authorities said.

Kelly remains held without bond in Chicago's Metropolitan Correctional Center. A judge ordered the Grammy Award-winning singer to be transferred to New York to appear in federal court on August 2.

He has denied any wrongdoing.
