Sluggers is known for its batting cages on the second floor, but now it will be known for having its new unique cage -- named after Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant.
Bryant, who teamed up with Red Bull to make the batting cage a reality, was on hand Wednesday for its grand opening, taking a few swings to "christen" his namesake cage.
The cages have been a staple at Sluggers for more than 30 years, but the latest has been transformed to pay tribute to Bryant's journey through the MLB. It even includes a sign that says "Welcome to Las Vegas," Bryant's hometown.
The owner said the timing of the opening fits well with the renovations and changes taking place around Wrigleyville this season.
The cage opens up to the public beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday. See it for yourself below.
