Girl, 16, Struck by Bullet That Sailed Through Window of Her Home

A 16-year-old girl was struck by a bullet that flew through the window of her home in the Longwood Manor neighborhood early Saturday.

At about 12:30 a.m., the girl was sitting inside her home in the 9500 block of South Green when multiple bullets came sailing through the window, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.

The girl was shot in the arm and transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where her condition stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
