Celebrate the Cubs Win More With Free Food

Could winning the World Series get any sweeter, Cubs fans?

Yes, apparently, it can — eateries around Chicagoland are offering deals in honor of the historic victory.

Some were short-lived, with the first 108 guests getting something free, but others are still going on or coming up. Here's a list of some of the deals you can take advantage of:

Chick-Fil-A: A couple of the chicken sandwich locations in the area are celebrating with freebies for Cubbies. Until 10 p.m. Thursday in Schaumburg, a chicken sandwich is free if you buy medium waffle fries and medium drink, as long as you're in Cubs gear. And in Vernon Hills, you can get a free three-count Chick-n-Minis from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday — but you have to wear Cubs gear, too.

I Dream of Falafel: The local Mediterranean food chain is offering a free side of falafel Thursday, as long as you show their #FlytheW tweet. They have locations in the Loop, Near West Side, Lake View and Oakbrook.

Palermo Bakery: The party starts on Saturday at the Norridge bakery, when from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cubs fans can pick up one free cannoli per person.

Porkchop: The BBQ restaurant's West Loop location is doling out free barbeque sandwiches till 4 p.m. Thursday.

Mario's Red Hots: Mario's Red Hots, located at 3803 N. Harlem Ave., offered free hot dogs on Thursday in honor of the Cubs' World Series win.
