Cops Search for ‘Peeping Tom' Who Watched Woman in Restroom

Chicago Police released surveillance photos of a man who watched a woman in a restroom and dragged her into a stairwell in a building on the Near West side.

Around 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 23, a man was observed on video watching a woman in a bathroom in a building located on the 2100 block of South Lumber Street, according to a community alert released Saturday. As the woman exited the bathroom the man grabbed her and dragged her into a stairwell of the building, police said.

The woman was able to get away from the man and called police.

Police described the “peeping tom” as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35. He is between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 140-160 ponds. He was wearing a light blue long sleeve shirt with dark pants.
