Elmhurst authorities said Saturday an investigation is ongoing after a house fire Friday night likely killed three people.
According to a statement released by officials, police responded to reports of a fire in an unincorporated Elmhurst home around 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of N. Willow Street.
The Elmhurst Fire Department said they found three deceased individuals from the home, one woman and two men.
The identity of the victims is being temporarily withheld until the cause and manner of their deaths is determined, authorities said.
No other information was immediately known.
