The James Beard Foundation Awards and Gala Reception returned to Chicago Monday, marking the second year in a row the ceremony has been held in the Windy City.
The prestigious food awards ceremony, known to some as “the Oscars of the food world,” was held at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and honored the nation’s best chefs and restaurants.
