2 Winning Lottery Tickets Sold in Illinois Over 4th of July Holiday Weekend

The Illinois Lottery said Monday that neither ticket had been claimed

It wasn't just a lucky day, it was a lucky weekend for two Illinois lottery players – including one in Chicago.

A gas station in the city, located at 8258 S. King Dr., sold a $350,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Friday evening draw. The ticket matched all five numbers – 01 - 04 - 12 – 29 – 39.

Meanwhile in East Peoria, another winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket was purchased at Short Stop, located at 3322 Meadow Ave. There, the ticket matched all five numbers – 29- - 33 – 35 – 36 – 45 – to win a $150,000 prize in the Saturday evening draw.

The Illinois Lottery said Monday that neither ticket had been claimed. Officials urged winners to sign the backs of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they call 1-800-252-1775 or visit one of the lottery’s five prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
