2 Killed in South Shore Motorcycle Crash

Two men were killed Friday when a motorcyclist crashed into a car on the South Side late Friday night, police said.

The motorcyclist was driving at a “high rate of speed” when it T-boned a vehicle around 11:30 p.m. on Dorchester Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Sullivan.

The man driving the motorcycle, thought to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, Sullivan said. He remained unidentified as of Saturday morning.

The 52-year-old driver of the car was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and was later pronounced dead, police said.

Area Central detectives and police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
