SPRING INTO ACTION: Sure, the temps might be in the single digits, but we can dream, can't we? NEW MUSIC FIRST: Check out the "Magical Musical Showcase," a monthly event with live performances from up-and-coming Chicago musicians, at the Museum of Contemporary Art tonight. This month's featured artist is Alex Inglizian, presented by nonprofit experimental music group Lampo. Cash bar and food are available. 6:30PM, free.

EVERYONE'S FAVORITE HELLION: Love him or despise him, you might be curious to meet uber blogger Tucker Max (of "The Tucker Max Stories") in person as he shares tales of his sexual misadventures from his new book, "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" at the Borders on Michigan Avenue tonight. 7PM, free.
