The Illinois Gaming Board is considering three suitors for the state's unused casino license.
The board is set to hear presentations at its Tuesday meeting from three bidders that want to locate the casino in either Des Plaines, Rosemont or Waukegan.
They are competing for the state's 10th casino license, which has finally emerged from years of legal limbo.
Trilliant Gaming of Rosemont's bid is the highest at $435 million. And Waukegan Gaming's bid was the second highest at $225 million. Midwest Gaming & Entertainment of Des Plaines has bid $100 million.
Officials have said the winner will be chosen by the end of the year.
