Since Robbie Gould gave Chicago Bears fans a win last night at Soldier Field with his golden toe, we'd like to offer him a foot massage today. Hell, we'd spring for a full body massage if he wants one.
We feel like it's the least we can do after his game-winning 35-yard field goal gave the Bears a 27-24 overtime win over New Orleans to keep them in the playoff hunt.
"It's a great opportunity to get a field goal to win the game, but at the same time it's a total team effort," Gould told the Chicago Tribune. "The offense battled back. And the coin toss went our way. The offense played well just to get the ball down in range."
How humble. We still want to make sure he takes care of that Gould-en leg that gave the team the W.
