For any dude, March madness means one thing, and it has nothing to do with fashion, unless you're favorite squad is wearing some throwback uni-s. But for the ladies, the month of March now offers something more than watching your man betting on brackets.
Tocco Italian restaurant is partnering with four top Chicago boutiques to offer shoppers a discount on dining and a closer look inside spring fashion.
Tocco's "March Madness for the Fashionista" features a different boutique each week and a reception to showcase it. The four chosen stores are Veruca Salt, Sarca, Koros and Havilah.
Week of March 8: Koros kicks off the series, featuring its spring collection hand-picked by fashionable owner Kristen Skordilis. A reception will be held March 11 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Week of March 15: New Gold Coast staple Sarca takes over with a reception on March 18 from 7-9:30 p.m. Look for international, high-fashion label Sass and Bide as a highlight.
Week of March 22: Dresses, denim and accessories are the highlights at Veruca Salt when they showcase their goods. During the March 25 reception from 6-9 p.m., expect a trunk show featuring the English Muffin line of everyday wear from owner Amber Warren.
Week of March 29: Last but not least, save some of your monthly allowance for Havilah. The reception on April 1 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. features some of the boutique’s irresistible spring fashion-forward lines.
