I'm Sorry, But Give Me All Ya Got

Robber’s guilty conscience doesn’t prevent him from committing crime

Would you feel better about a robbery if the criminal apologized?

Last week, a woman pulled up to a drive-thru ATM at a Harris Bank in Midlothian. She typed in her PIN from her car and proceeded to withdraw $60, when a man grabbed her wrist.

He snatched the money from her and then apologized, the Neighborhood Star reports.

"I'm sorry," said the robber in dark clothes, "but I've got kids at home, and I really need the money."

According to police, a second man then attempted to enter the woman's car from the passenger side, but the door was locked.

The first man then demanded the woman's PIN, using it to withdraw another $200 before running off.
