Rainy days got you down on your heels? Try Shuella, the "shoe umbrella"

Now that it seems to be raining more than ever, you can stand under an umbrella (ella, ella), but what about your Manolos? Instead of wearing your wellies to your next girls' night out, slap on Shuella (ella, ella), a stylish footwear accessory that protects your precious pumps.

Chicago fashion designer Rebecca Miller is a girl about town who saw the need for cute raingear to guard women's cherished shoes in inclement weather. Combining fashion and function, she created Shuella, a line of wrap-around footwear that glides on easily over your own shoes, including your 5-inch Louboutins, creating a slip-free sole for Chicago's treacherous streets. The collection, which includes sunny colors like buttercup yellow, apple green, hot pink and, of course, classic black, is available in your normal shoe sizes, and each pair comes with a drying cloth and a custom zippered carrying case to toss in your Fendi Peekaboo tote and go.

Each pair of Shuellas retail for $49.95 and can be purchased through the Web site. Better get yours quick before the next downpour leaves you crying over your Choos.
