NBC 5 Chicago is proud to be a part of the 2015 Bud Billiken Parade!

Founded in 1929, The Bud Billiken Parade began so that underprivileged youth have the opportunity to be in the spotlight. People of all ages and people from around the country come to participate in the parade.  It has become the second largest parade in the United States and features dozens of bands, drill teams, marching bands, floats, and so much more! The 2.3 mile long parade begins at King Drive at Oakwood Boulevard and ends at Garfield Boulevard and Ellsworth Drive. NBC 5 Chicago will be along the parade route passing out promotional items.

Come out on Saturday August 8th to experience a celebration of excitement and for the full “360° Experience!”
