The Chicago Bears are celebrating their 100th anniversary with a huge fan event out in Rosemont this weekend, and the team took the opportunity to unveil their new throwback uniforms for the upcoming season.

The Bears, who will join the NFL in celebrating its 100th season in 2019, debuted the new threads at the opening ceremony of the Bears100 Celebration, with Kyle Fuller and his teammates doing the honors of showing off the new look:

Images of the uniforms had recently leaked out, and the look debuted Friday ultimately matched the jersey in the still photos:

The Bears will wear the throwback jerseys for two different games this season. The team will debut the uniforms when they take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 29, and will wear them again on Dec. 5 when they play the Dallas Cowboys.

The uniforms and helmets are a throwback to the 1936 season, when the Bears went 9-3 and finished in second place in the NFL’s Western Division. The uniforms not only feature striping on the sleeves and shoulders, but also on the helmet.
