David Burke's Primehouse has staked its reputation on big, juicy steaks, but now it's moving in a sweeter direction.
On May 4th, the River North restaurant unveils its annual ice cream pop-up shop.
Every Friday this summer, from 3-5 p.m., executive pastry chef Jove Hubbard will offer up a different ice cream concoction at the entrance to Jbar lounge at 610 N. Rush.
The first day is an homage to Cinco de Mayo, with flavors such as the Margarita Grande (Cointreau ice cream swirled with tequila lime sorbet) and Mexican Hot Chocolate.
Jumbo cones are available for $5, cash only.
