EARLY START: Union Station's EVE of the EVE party is always the place to be for a couple thousand revelers. The optional black tie party raises funds for HighSight's scholarship program, which helps Chicago kids attend private schools. Tickets are $125 in advance and $140 day of and includes an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, live music and dancing.

GOT SOUL? The "We Love Soul" crew celebrates the day before NYE with a combination after work social, cocktail and dance party, with a few other elements to boot. Hit Darkroom for this festive party that includes soulful grooves from the DJs such as Sean Alvarez and Duane Powell.
