Happy Groundhog, err, Tiger Day!

Forget Punxsutawney Phil.

On Monday — Groundhog Day — the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha will have a weather prognosticator of its own. Siberian tiger "Khuntami" is expected to predict whether Nebraska will see an early spring or six more weeks of winter.

But Khuntami won't be relying on his shadow.

Instead, the roughly 16-year-old tiger will chow down on his selection. His breakfast will come in two containers — a green one for spring and a white one for winter — and whichever he chooses first will determine his forecast.

Khuntami's weather prediction is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday.
