Blackhawks won't rest on the laurels of their Game 1 victory over the San Jose Sharks.
There is a first for everything, and for the first time in four playoff series the Blackhawks are winners of game one.
But despite their big win, the Hawks are not celebrating and certainly not over confident. The team says game one is in the past and they're completely focused on game two.
"We go into every game with the same mentality, that we want to win it," said "Just because we won the first one, we can't take our foot off the gas by any means." said forward Patrick Sharp.
The Hawks know winning game two will be much harder than game one, and that's why they'll have to play even better.
"We've got to react like we shouldn't be satisfied, we haven't accomplished anything and feel like we have to win that game," coach Joel Quenneville said.
