    Chicago White Sox relief pitcher Chris Sale and catcher Tyler Flowers are two of the 24 players to sign 2012 contract, the team announced Saturday.

    The White Sox made a big announcement that will solidify the roster for the start of their 2012 season.

    The team announced 24 players have signed contracts for the 2012 season, including second baseman Gordon Beckham and catcher Tyler Flowers.  They added that all members of the White Sox 40-man roster are signed for 2012.

    Also signed were infielders Eduardo Escobar, Ozzie Martinez and Brent Morel; outfielders Alejandro De Aza and Brent Lillibridge; and pitchers Dylan Axelrod, Anthony Carter, Simon Castro, Deunte Heath, Pedro Hernandez, Philip Humber, Gregory Infante, Nate Jones, Charlie Leesman, Jhan Marinez, Nestor Molina, Addison Reed, Chris Sale, Hector Santiago, Zach Stewart, Jose Quintana and Donnie Veal.

    Opening day at Cellular field is on April 13 against the Detroit Tigers.
