Paul Konerko of the Chicago White Sox, along with Cleveland Indian's Asdrubal Cabrera, snagged the title for co-American League Player of the week during the current period ending April 10th.
The all-star player is no stranger to the award. He last received it for the week of April 26 - May 2, 2010.
It seems as though Konerko has been on fire with an exciting last six games showcasing three home runs,a double, hit of .417 (10-24) and eight RBI.
The slugger who is already a four-time AL All-star, has given fans reason for excitement, delivering a club record in runs at all of the Sox first seven games of the season.
In addition, Konerko just made his 28th multihomer game vs. Tampa Bay on Sunday.
