Three People Shot at Chicago's Rainbow Beach, Police Say

Three people were shot at Chicago’s Rainbow Beach on Sunday evening, according to Chicago Police.

All three victims were taken to South Shore Hospital in stable condition after the shooting.

The incident occurred at the beach, located in the South Chicago neighborhood. A man on foot fired shots at the trio and then fled the scene, according to police.

One of the victims, a 15-year-old boy, was shot in the lower back. A second victim, a 37-year-old man, was shot in the right leg. A third victim, a 20-year-old man with gang affiliation, was shot in the right forearm, police said.

No one is in custody in the case, and police are still investigating.
