Online Benefit Launched for Horse Lover's Daughter

Michelle Eustis

The memory of a young mother is being honored through an online auction for the little girl she left behind.

Michelle Eustis, 25, was killed earlier this month during an accident at Balmoral Park Racetrack.  She was struck by a pickup truck as she was either walking or riding a horse.

A horse racing driver at the track is auctioning off several items on eBay to help raise money for Eustis' 7-year-old daughter.

Current items listed include autographed horse racing equipment and memorabilia as well as Bulls playoff tickets.

Fans wishing to bid and/or view the list of items up for auction can visit eBay and search by seller: for "hkbenefit."

The driver of the truck, with whom Eustis was romantically involved, was charged with drunken driving.
