A winning Mega Millions ticket worth an estimated $260 million was purchased in Illinois.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Tuesday—2, 9,11, 22 and 23, plus the gold Mega Ball 12.
The Illinois Lottery reports the ticket was sold at a Super Mercado Imelda, located at 13036 S. Western Ave. in Blue Island.
The Illinois ticketholder is the only jackpot winner in the drawing.
Fourteen people matched five of the winning numbers for a $1 million prize. Those tickets were sold in California, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
The jackpot winner marks the fourth time the jackpot has been won this year. Another Illinois player took home $265 million in January and New Yorkers claimed back-to-back jackpots in February and March.
