Two people were injured in a crash on Lake Shore Drive that ended in a car striking a pole Saturday night.
A 28-year-old man driving northbound in a Jeep Liberty on Lake Shore Drive near the Museum Campus sideswiped two vehicles and then struck a pole, according to police news affairs. The accident happened at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Lake Shore Drive and East McFetridge Drive.
The driver of the Jeep and his passenger were transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
