From dancers to Fred Flintstone and unicyclists to Ronald McDonald and a big ole turkey, Chicago's annual Thanksgiving Day parade went off without a hitch.
It isn't Thanksgiving in Chicago until the annual parade steps off on State Street.
Actress Holland Taylor led the 78th annual Thanksgiving Day parade, which drew thousands downtown as balloons, dancers, marching bands, Ronald McDonald and lots more strutted up State Street.
Big Bird and Fred Flintstone balloons did the limbo underneath "L" tracks with the help of hundreds of volunteers. And the weather held to a tolerable mid-50s and turned even warmer for a well-packed parade.
