    The Chicago Police Department released surveillance photos showing the car involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed an 83-year-old man Tuesday.

    The crash occurred at the intersection of Devon and California avenues at around 6:20 p.m. Norman Esho was walking to a video store about three blocks away from his home when he was struck

    An 83-year-old man was struck and killed in a crosswalk in West Rogers Park, police said. Michelle Relerford reports.

    The surveillance photos show a maroon or red full-sized Chevrolet or GMC SUV vehicle with shiny custom rims.

    After striking the victim, the vehicle fled the scene south on California.

    A witness told NBC 5 that the driver was speeding before he hit Esho.
