A Roselle man died Saturday night after a minivan struck him in northwest suburban Bartlett.

Marek Sibiga, 41, was struck by a vehicle at West Bartlett Road and South Park Place Drive in Bartlett, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Sibiga, of the 500 block of Avebury Lane in Roselle, was declared dead at 8:34 p.m. Saturday at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, the medical examiner’s office said.

A Sunday autopsy determined Sibiga died from multiple injuries from a minivan striking a pedestrian and the death was ruled an accident.

Bartlett police are investigating, but were unavailable for comment.
