A rash of robberies in Bucktown, Wicker Park and Logan Square continues.

Police said a man targeted another woman over the weekend in the same area where 13 others were attacked and robbed in the last two months.

Detectives say the latest attack happened around 1 a.m. Saturday when a man came up behind two women who were walking home. He demanded their purses then shoved one of the women to the pavement before taking off.

This follows a similar incident captured on camera two weeks ago outside a restaurant near Damen and Milwaukee. The video shows a man spin the woman to the ground and dash off with her purse.

Area 5 detectives are searching for the suspect and trying to figure out if he has an accomplice who uses the stolen credit cards within hours of the attack. In many cases the robber has targeted women, snatching purses, wallets and phones.

Residents say they're staying on extra alert.

Anyone with information on any of the crimes should call detectives at 312-746-8362.
