Police Officers Hurt in Overnight Crash

Three people are recovering after an car crash involving a Chicago Police car

Two Chicago Police officers became part of a crash scene overnight.

The partners were responding to a call of a man with a gun when they collided with a car at the intersection of 67th and Stony Island Avenue, near Jackson Park, on Chicago's south side.

The two female officers were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The 41-year old woman in the other car was taken to Northwestern Memorial Center.

All suffered non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigaton. No citations have been issued.
