A southwest suburban man was stabbed to death Saturday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Antone L. Sims, 28, was arguing with a female about 11:10 p.m. in a first-floor apartment in the 11500 block of South Perry Avenue, when the female stabbed him in the chest with a knife and then fled the scene, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Sims, of the 100 block of West Devoe Drive in Oswego, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead at 12:17 a.m., authorities said.

An autopsy found Sims died of multiple stab and incised wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

The relationship of the man and female is not known and no one is in custody as of Sunday afternoon.
