Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has released a legal guide to help military members, veterans and their family members.
It's called the "Legal Rights of Illinois Service Members" and was announced on Sunday.
Madigan says it's a resource that helps veterans and military members understand legal protections and benefits, especially when it comes to employment issues and consumer protections.
The office has also started tracking complaints from veterans and military service members to help better identify potential consumer fraud.
