Wish granted!

On Thursday, a local Chicago teen suffering from leukemia flew to Los Angeles and met the cast of The Office, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Saint Patrick High School junior Daniel Conrad met the cast and crew during a taping of the hit NBC.

"Everybody's been so nice," said Joseph Conrad, Daniel's father. Make-A-Wish flew the entire family, including Daniel's two college-age sisters, to LA for the tour.

"They put us up in this nice hotel," the elder Conrad said, adding that they received limo service from the hotel to The Office set, and that the family received tickets to a taping of Late Night With Conan O'Brien.

"Steve Carell is really a nice guy," he said.

As for Daniel, he made his wish to the Make-A-Wish Foundation after undergoing numerous chemotherapy treatments for the past year.

He's still receiving chemotherapy treatments once a month, but that's a welcome change from his once-weekly visits.
