The line between smut and art has always called for interpretation.
Thursday, a state appeals court told officials at a maximum security prison that they had to give an inmate photographs of women in bikinis that he ordered by mail, reports the AP.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall for that conversation.
Lacy is currently incarcerated at the "Supermax" prison in Boscobel, Wisconsin, about 160 miles west of Milwaukee. The facility bans pornography and withheld several photos Lacy had ordered.
However, the 4th District Appellate Court in Madison (about 140 miles northwest of Chicago) determined that, of all the photos Lacy ordered, four of them did not violate the prison's pornography policy.
Two photos feature women on a beach in bikinis. Two others are of a woman in a pink bikini standing in front of a wall, according to the AP. Because the women's bikinis cover up any naughty bits, the photos were deemed not pornographic, and Lacy is allowed to have them.
We wonder who got the job of sifting through all those photos to find the "clean" ones. For once, someone was grateful for a long day at work.
