Burundi Olympian Diane Nukuri could make it into the top 10.

She comes to Chicago fresh off a personal best of 2:27:50 at the 2015 London Marathon and looks to Oct. 11 for another potential big finish.

"I am so grateful for the opportunity to run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this year, one of the top marathons in the world,” Nukuri said. “Chicago was my first marathon back in 2010, and I am looking forward to being competitive this time. I'm also looking forward to the fast course. And I love the city of Chicago!"
