The fire department in suburban Naperville says a chlorine leak at a swimming school has sent nine people to the hospital.
Emergency crews responded to a reported chemical spill on Friday at the Goldfish Swim School.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that nine people were hospitalized for complaints ranging from nausea and vomiting to chest pain and shortness of breath.
Fire officials said the incident was under control by midday Friday.
