You can say what you want about Chicagoans, but one thing you can't say is that we're vain.
At least judging from a Time magazine study that shines a light on the most popular places for selfies taken across the globe.
Chicago ranks 157th on the list, with 20 selfie takers per 100,000 people.
Makati City in the Philippines took the crown for “Selfie Capital of the World.”
Manhattan came in second place with 202 selfie-takers per 100,000 people. Miami has the third most selfie-takers with 155 per 100,000 people.
The rankings were mined from a database of more than 400,000 Instagram photos that were hashtagged “selfie” with a geo-location.
Some other U.S. cities included in the top selfie category include Anaheim, San Francisco, Boston, Las Vegas and Washington, D. C.
