CTA Blue Line service was suspended between Harlem and California Thursday after a man was struck near Jefferson Park, fire officials said.
According to the Chicago Fire Department, a man jumped on the tracks Thursday evening and was pronounced dead on arrival. The Chicago Police Department and the CTA are conducting an investigation.
No other details were available, and crews were working to restore service.
