Most people expect to catch a buzz at a bar, but a Buffalo Grove man is accused of trying to take it to another level -- with an unsuspecting woman.

Jordan Leff, 56, is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and attempted aggravated battery after police say he tried to slip an undisclosed prescription drug into a woman's drink at Jimmy's Carhouse in Buffalo Grove, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Police say another customer noticed Leff drop the substance in the drink, and alerted her before she could take a sip.

The woman handed the drink over to police and tests found evidence of the drug.

The man and woman were not at the bar together.

Leff's bond was set at $25,000 for the two felony charges.
