A former Downers Grove South basketball star and two other men were being held in the DuPage County Jail Friday on robbery charges, officials said.

Jerron Wilbut, 19, Leverenzel Booth, 18, and Kelechukwu Akuba, 20, allegedly lured a jouvenile into a car and robbed him, officials said.

Wilbut, a former basketball player for Downers Grove South, was a candidtate for Mr. Basketball in Illinois his senior year and reportedly accepted an offer to play at Seton Hall University in the fall.
