Jillian Harris will co-host new season of "Extreme Makover: Home Edition"

Jillian Harris, the Bachelorette who found love with a local boy Ed Swiderski, is heading back to reality TV. 

Harris landed a gig as one of the hosts on ABC’s up coming season of “Extreme Makeover:  Home Edition,” reports realitytvworld.com.  

“I have been an adoring fan of the series for years and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing team," Harris said last year when she acted as a guest host on the show. She signaled that she wanted a full-time gig and got it.

Harris’ is best known as the lovable and spunky bachelorette from Canada.

She and fiance Swiderski got engaged last summer and have been thrilling Chicagoans with their sweet style.  

But before walking down the aisle, Harris be walking around piles of rubble as bulldozers demolish homes on the show that truly does take home make overs to the extreme.

She’ll be joined by former Pimp My Ride host Xzibit and interior designer Leigh Anne Tuohy – who was played by Sandra Bullock in the film “The Blind Side” -- for this coming fall’s eighth season of Extreme Makover:  Home Edition.
