Pregnant Woman Among 4 Wounded in Shooting on Chicago's South Side

A pregnant woman was critically wounded in a shooting that left four people injured, three critically, on Chicago's South Side late Saturday morning, according to police.

The shooting occurred at 11:43 a.m. in the 1400 block of W 114th Place in the city's Morgan Park neighborhood, authorities confirmed.

A 19-year-old woman sustained gunshot wounds to the leg and the back, and taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said. Fire officials later confirmed that she is three months pregnant. 

A 20-year-old woman was also shot in the leg and back, and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, officials confirmed.

Authorities did not release any further information about the shooting. No one is in custody and police continue to investigate.
